Bhubaneswar: Odisha Sports Minister Chandra Sarathi Behera inaugurates renovated Biju Patnaik Swimming Pool Complex at Kalinga Stadium, Bhubaneswar.
Behera inaugurated the swimming pool in the presence of R Vineel Krishna, Director & Additional Secretary, Sports & Youth Affairs and other officials of the concerned department.
The swimming pool has been constructed at a cost of Rs 5 crore. The swimming pool has been designed on FINA (Fédération internationale de natation – in English – International Swimming Federation) standard . Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (IDCO) completed the 10-lane and 50mx25mx2m pool in a record time of less than 5 months.
