Odisha signs MoU with PHFI, Ziqitza Health Care Limited to enhance efficient healthcare delivery

Bhubanswar: Odisha Government signs MoU with Public Health Foundation of India, Ziqitza Health Care Limited with focus on enhanced and efficient healthcare delivery across Odisha.
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik presided over signing of MoUs with Ziqitza Health Care Limited and Public Health Foundation of India.
Highlights of the two MoUs signed by State Government:
• 92 ambulances sanctioned from State Fund, adding to 420-strong fleet of 108 ambulance service to augment emergency healthcare
• 6 boat ambulances sanctioned from State Budget will now ensure accessibility of healthcare services in cut-off areas of Koraput, Malkangiri, Kalahandi and Kendrapara districts
• 28 Basic Life Support Ambulances upgraded to Advance Life Support Ambulances, improving emergency response service along critical roadways
Post Graduate programmes in District HQ Hospitals will create Specialist Doctors for expert services in peripheral areas, a step towards achieving the mission of ‘Healthcare for All’.
PG programmes are supported by PHFI and being offered by College of Physicians & Surgeons, Mumbai and National Board of Examinations.
