Odisha rights activist Akhand selected for International Program in Armenia

Bhubaneswar: A Well-known human rights campaigner of Odisha, Mr. Akhand has been selected to the international training program on digital security and campaign to be held at Yerevan, the capital city of Armenia.

The training program is being organised by an International rights Organisation, CIVICUS. It will be held from 3 June to 7 June, 2018.

Akhand raises his voices for the depressed, marginalized and vulnerable section of the people. He became deeply involved in campaigning where human rights are grossly violated by the state actors. Akhand has been providing direct free legal assistance to the victim or his/her family members in case of Human Rights Violation through direct intervention. He is working as Working Group Member of Civil Society Forum on Human Rights (CSFHR) at Bhubaneswar, Odisha.

The training program is being organised by an International rights Organisation, CIVICUS. It will be held from 3 June to 7 June.

Akhand has already visit different cities of USA March 2017 under International Visitors’ Leadership Program (IVLP).
