Odisha: Puri MP Pinaki Misra asked 333 questions in Parliament in last five years

Puri: Sitting Puri MP Pinaki Misra was one among the top Parliamentarians of the country . Puri MP Pinaki Misra succeeded to spare most times in the debates and discussions in the Loka Sabha, said a report.

The lawyer turned politician has participated 84 per cent working days in the Lok Sabha in last five years by asking as many as 333 questions. As per a survey, Pinaki’s report card is B+ grade, which is of course glaring for any political leader so far his accountability to people is concerned.

Pinaki sitting among top 10 VIP Parliamentarians is another milestone so far as his credentials as 3-time MP from the pilgrim city is concerned. In all India ranking he has bagged 152nd position as per the survey.

Among the questions put in the Lower House, most of them are starred. Notably, starred questions are those to which a member seeks oral replies on the floor of the House. Apart from his representations, he has succeeded to incur over Rs 20 crore from his MP LAD towards his constituency in various projects.
