Bhubaneswar: A day after filling up of nominations for the forthcoming students’ union election in Vanivihar (Utkal University), bombs were reportedly hurled in the campus today evening near ladies hostel.
Despite sec 144 at main gate of Utkal University in Bhubaneswar, miscreants hurl bomb near VC office. Tension prevailed in and out of the campus after the incident and two groups of youths clashed near the main gate of the varsity.
In a bid to restore normalcy in the spot, the Commissionerate of police have clamped Section 144 in front of the varsity’s main entrance. Police evicting students after imposition of Sec 144 at main gate of Utkal University.
