Bhubaneswar: Odisha para athlete Pramod Bhagat has made it to the list of 19 nominees for Arjuna Award for 2019. The badminton player has had a dream run this year so far winning gold medals.
The other nominees are: Tajinderpal Singh Toor, Mohammad Anas Yahiya, S Bhaskaran, Sonia Lather, Ravinder Jadeja, Chinglensana Singh Kangujam, Ajay Thakur, Gaurav Singh Gill, Anjum Moudgil, Harmeet Rajul Desai, Poonam Dhanda, Fouaad Mirza, Gurpreet Singh Sandhu, Poonam Yadav, Swapna Barman, Sundar Singh Gurjar, Bhamidipati Sai Praneeth and Simran Singh Shergill.
The panel also nominated five names for the Dronacharya Award, four for the Rashtriya Khel Protsahan Puraskar, three for the Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad (MAKA) Trophy and names of three coaches in life time category.
