Odisha MSME International Trade Fair 2019 to be held from 28th January, 2019

Bhubaneswar: With a view to provide a platform to MSMEs for marketing of their products and services, Odisha International MSME Trade Fair-2019 with focus on “Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Startups” will be held from 28th January to 3rd February, 2019 at the IDCO Exhibition Ground, Unit-3, Bhubaneswar.  In all 400 MSMEs will participate in the MSME Trade Fair. Apart from that 32 MSMEs from 5 countries namely, Iran, Bangladesh, South Korea, Cambodia and Russia are participating in the international trade fair. Speaking on the occasion, Shri L.N. Gupta, ACS, MSME informed that the trade fair will have total 400 stalls divided into 5 hangers. The Theme Pavilion will be devoted to Startups, Innovation and Entrepreneurship with participation of 40 startups. The Hanger-A will be dedicated to food processing and sea food sector with 57 stalls allotted to 50 MSMEs. Hanger-B is earmarked for Engineering and Fabrication sector with 79 stalls allotted to 74 MSMEs. The Hanger-C is earmarked for MSMEs led by Women and SC/ST entrepreneurships, technology companies, software development and handicraft & handloom companies. Hanger-D will have exhibition from Coir Board, KVIC, KVIB, MSME-DI and Talgur Society. The Hanger-E will have participation from MSMEs coming from 5 countries as well as CPSUs namely; NALCO, IOCL, MPEDA, MCL and State PSUs like OMC, GRIDCO and IPICOL. Shri Gupta further added that on the sidelines of MSME trade fair, 4 seminars on MSME related topics are being organized for the benefit of entrepreneurs. The details are given below :

The seminars will be addressed by H.E. Mr. Phan Sansh Chau, Ambassador of Vietnam to India, Dr. Arun Panda, Secretary to Govt. of India, Ministry of MSME, Shri Sudhi Gar, CMD, NSIC, Dr. A. Raj, Sr. Director, QCI, Shri N.C. Shah, Director, Indian Institute of Packaging, Mumbai among others.
The trade fair will have added attraction of various Odia and continental cuisine provided by 20 food stalls being set up by reputed hotels and restaurants through Director, Tourism. Lastly, for the culture lovers, cultural programmes programme have also been planned each  evening.
