Biramitrapur MLA George Tirkey & Convenor of Mahanadi Bachao Andolan Sudarshan Das officially join Congress at New Delhi in presence of AICC President Rahul Gandhi .
“Congress President Rahul Gandhi welcomed George Tirkey, from Odisha into the Congress Party. Shri Tirkey joined the Congress today which will strengthen the party. I welcome him to the Congress family,” said OPCC Chief Niranjan Pattnaik.
George Tirkey is four time MLA. He likely to be Congress candidate for Sundargarh Lok Sabha constituency in 2019 polls.
