Bhubaneswar: Minister for Labour and Employment Susanta Singh on Monday alleged that the BJP is provoking farmers not only to burn their crops but also to commit suicide.
“The Bargarh incident is nothing but a remake of the Hindi movie Peepli Live,” Singh, who is from Bargarh district, said. He further admitted that Brown Grass Hopper (Chakada pest) has emerged as a calamity during this season for the farmers and the Government has sympathy for them.
He further said that a video of a BJP supporter provoking Brunda Sahu of Bargarh district to commit suicide is very much with him and he would give it to police for appropriate action.
