Bhubaneswar: Narasing Marndi a student of KISS, +2 2nd year Arts has been selected to represent the India U – 17 Rugby team in the above tournament. As informed given by Indian Rugby Football Union (IRFU), the Indian National U17 Boys Rugby Sevens team will be participating in the Asia Rugby U-17 Rugby Sevens Championship on 9th & 10th September, 2017 in Chinese Taipei, where Narasing has also selected in Indian National U – 17 Boys Rugby Sevens team. Other members are Chaitanya Motwane (Maharashtra) Pankaj Dagar (Delhi), Daryush Kapadia (Maharashtra), Siddhant Mehta (Maharashtra),Pankaj Singh (Maharashtra), Abhishek Yadav (Maharashtra). The tournament will serve as the Qualifiers for the Youth Olympic Games 2018. The training and selection camp for Indian National U – 17 Boys Rugby Sevens team was held at Bombay Gymkhana Grounds, Mumbai from 24th August to 7th September 2017. The team will be departing for Chinese Taipei on 7th September, 2017.
