Bhubaneswar: Odisha Finance Minister Shashi Bhusan Behera says second phase distribution of monetary assistance to beneficiaries under KALIA scheme soon.
About 18 lakh farmers will get monetary assistance under KALIA scheme in the second phase, Behera said today. Out of the total number, 13 lakhs are farmers and five lakhs are landless farmers, he added. Although the date of release of funds to the beneficiaries is yet to be finalised, it will be done soon, the Minister said.
Rs 4,461 crore has been allocated for the KALIA Scheme in the interim budget presented in the Odisha Assembly.
