Bhubaneswar: Odisha Government to include all gram panchayats in the ‘Ama Gaon, Ama Bikash’ programme .
Chief Secretary AP Padhi on Friday directed all district Collectors to include all gram panchayats in the ‘Ama Gaon, Ama Bikash’ programme and ensure that all field projects are completed in stipulated time limits.
The Chief Secretary said this to Collectors while holding a discussion with them on various field projects through a videoconferencing at the State Secretariat. He asked collectors to hold ‘Ama Gaon, Ama Bikash’ programmes at block levels after including all gram panchayats in it.
Among others, Development Commissioner R Balakrishnan, Water Resources Secretary Pradeep Kumar Jena, Agriculture Secretary Sourav Garg, Panchayati Raj and Drinking Water Secretary Deo Ranjan Kumar Singh, Excise Secretary Nikunja Bihari Dhal and National Health Mission Director Shalini Pandit were present.
