Puri: Odisha Revenue department identifies 3 acre land encroached by The Dera Sacha Sauda Ashram in Puri. The Dera Sacha Sauda Ashram run by jailed rape convict Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh .
A five-member team of Revenue Department officials headed by the local Tehsildar found it while conducting measurement of the property today as locals complained about the encroachment of government land by the ashram after conviction of Gurmeet Singh.
The ashram stands on seven acres of land out of which four acres has been purchased in the name of the ashram from a private individual while the remaining three acres is encroached government land.
