Odisha Govt employees’ thanked CM Naveen Patnaik for implementation of 7th Pay Commission’s recommendations

Bhubaneswar: The employees of various Government departments and members of employees’ associations met Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik at the State Secretariat here on Wednesday and thanked him for the the much-awaited implementation of 7th Pay Commission’s recommendations.


The implementation of the 7th Pay would benefit around 4.5 lakh Government employees and 3.5 lakh pensioners and it would cost the State exchequer Rs 4,500 crore.


This implementation has come as a Durga Puja gift for the employees and the pensioners as the revised pay will be effective from September, 2017.
