Odisha Governor Dr S C Jamir appeals charitable trust participation for developing education, health sectors in state

Report by Kahnu Nanda; Jagatsinghpur: The state governor Dr S C Jamir appealed charitable trust, philanthropy organization and social body to take active participation for developing health and education sectors which is inaccessible in few remote villages of state, besides state constitutional head Dr Jamir emphasized for eradicating unemployment skill development among youths are urgently needed.
Speaking on the occasion of late justice B P Ray memorial lecture and unveiling late justice statue in Sivapur village under Biridi block on Sunday his excellence governor Dr Jamir described late justice Ray had profound legal knowledge being a lawyer and judge of the Odisha high court during his life time but his praiseworthy works he had undertaken that loving his village, he had started a private dispensary in village providing health service to fellow villagers later the dispensary elevated to a private hospital under supervision of KIMS and Kalpataru charitable trust , late justice dream project had inaugurated just two months after his untimely demise in the year June 2016, and today the hospital is serving health requirements of locals so his charitable trust has done an admirable job, Governor Dr Jamir praised.
Dr Achyuta Samanta founder KIIT and KISS delivering inaugural speech at the meeting reiterated sweet memories of late Justice Ray with him, establishment of Kalpataru charitable trust hospital in Sivapur, and today his first death anniversary , his excellence governor inaugurated late justice statue inside the hospital premises so Dr Samant expressed his deep happiness on the occasion.
Late justice Ray’s daughter Niyati Ray proposed the votes of thanks at the meeting, on the occasion of first death anniversary of late justice Ray a free health camp was organized by Kalpatru charitable trust as many as 600 patients were attended the camp and supplied free health checkup and medicines.[Ends]
