Odisha Government accorded tourist spot tag to the Yogi-Yogini Peeth

Bhubaneswar: The State Government has accorded tourist spot tag to the Yogi-Yogini Peeth near Aanlapata village under Khandapada block in Natagarh district. The Tourism Department has sanctioned Rs10 lakh to set up an interpretation centre at the place. With this, the number of tourist spots in the State stands at 341, said Tourism and Culture Minister Ashok Chandra Panda.
Surrounded by dense forests, the Peetha has five historic Buddha structures attracting many visitors towards it. Besides, thousands of people throng the spot to witness a famous fair held in the month of January every year. Khandapada MLA Anubhav Patnaik expressed his gratitude to the Tourism Minister for this initiative.
