Bhubaneswar: The size of the State’s Annual Budget for 2019-20 is likely to cross the Rs 1,36,000-crore mark. A meeting of the Council of Ministers held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik at the State Secretariat here on Thursday approved the amount of the Budget.
Sectors like agriculture, education, health and MSME have been given focus in the draft Budget, according to sources. It may be noted that the Finance Department had collected opinions from the general public for preparation of the draft Budget.
