Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Thursday requested Prime Minister Narendra Modi for a hub of the Tata Memorial Centre (TMC) at Bhubaneswar to provide advanced and affordable care to the cancer patients. On this regards the Chief Minister on Thursday wrote the Prime Minister seeking his intervention to set up a hub at Bhubaneswar.
The main Tata Memorial Hospital is situated in Mumbai. It is a grant-in-aid institution under Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India and a specialist cancer treatment and research centre, closely associated with the advanced centre for treatment, research and education in cancer.
