Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik urges HRD Minister Javdekar towards discrepancies in CBSE XII board results

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik drew attention of Union Minister for HRD Prakash Javdekar towards discrepancies in CBSE XII board results and sought urgent action on same. He raised the following issues about the results:
• Results of thousands of students in Bhubaneswar Zone shown as withheld initially on CBSE website, causing anxiety to both students and parents
• Noticeable discrepancies in subject-wise results of many students; some bright students have scored low and single digit marks in some while scoring high in the rest
• Lapses in uniform implementation of moderation scheme in Bhubaneswar Zone
Chief Minister Patnaik stated that unless immediate action is taken for re-evaluation of answer sheets, students would not be able to get admissions in colleges across the country and that would further add to their emotionally traumatic experience since the publishing of results.
