Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik sanctioned 1869 development projects of ₹47.24 crore for 209 Gram Panchayats

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik interacted with people from Begunia (Khordha), Gop (Puri), Rajanagar (Kendrapara), Ghasipura (Kendujhar), Puintala (Balangir), Bissamcuttack (Rayagada), Gumma(Gajapati), Baliguda (Kandhamal), Tiring and Bisoi (Mayurbhanj) blocks, during the Ama Gaon Ama Bikash session. He highlighted role of the program in accelerating infrastructure & facilities development in villages in the state.

During the session, Chief Minister sanctioned 1869 development projects of ₹47.24 crore for 209 Gram Panchayats and directed swift completion of all sanctioned projects.

Till date, a total of 3,24,623 development projects worth ₹793.96 crore have been sanctioned under the program for 3508 Gram Panchayats in 155 blocks.

People from the nine districts expressed joy on being able to participate in the development of their own region and thanked Chief Minister for the opportunity to interact directly.
