Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik sanctioned 1473 development projects of ₹54.76Cr for 166 Gram Panchayats

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik interacted with people from Bhatli (Bargarh), Padmapur (Rayagada), Tentulikhunti (Nabarangpur), Salepur (Cuttack), Talcher (Angul), Narla (Kalahandi), K. Nuagaon (Kandhamal) and Saraskona & Jamada (Mayurbhanj) during the Ama Gaon Ama Bikash session. He highlighted role of the program in accelerating infrastructure & facilities development of villages in the state.

During the session, Chief Minister sanctioned 1473 development projects of ₹54.76Cr for 166 Gram Panchayats and directed swift completion of all sanctioned projects.

Till date, a total of 37,331 development projects worth ₹919 crore have been sanctioned under the program for 4054 Gram Panchayats in 184 blocks.

People from the eight districts expressed joy on being able to participate in the development of their own region and thanked Chief Minister for the opportunity to interact directly.
