Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Shri Naveen Patnaik reviewed implementation of development and welfare programmes through District Mineral Fund. Highlights of the review:
• Focus on development through DMF in eight mineral bearing districts
• Priority to environment protection, drinking water, health, education, housing, women & child welfare, irrigation, afforestation, electrification, connectivity and skill development of youth
• State-level committee headed by Chief Secretary to monitor DMF utilization and Executive Committee headed by District Collector to ensure proper implementation
Chief Minister Shri Patnaik directed coordinated planning and increased manpower deployment to ensure efficient implementation of programmes.
