Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Monday morning came here and paid floral tributes at the Samadhi of his father Biju Patnaik at the Swargadwar on Bijubabu’s death anniversary.
Later, he inaugurated a blood donation camp at the Gopabandhu Ayurveda Medical College and garlanded Bjiubabu’s statue at Hospital Square. He too commissioned a body-bearer vehicle “Swarg Sawari” sponsored by the Puri Lodging House Fund Committee.
The Chief Minister was accompanied by Bhubaneswar MP Prasanna Patsani, Ministers Sanjay Kumar Dasburma and Pradeep Maharathy, MLAs Umakanta Samantray and Surendra Sethy of Satyabadi and Kakatpur, respectively while Puri MLA Maheswar Mohanty, district Collector Arabind Agarwal and Superintendent of Police Sarthak Sarangi were present.
