Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik launches Rs 183 Crore worth drinking water project in Krushnaprasad block

Puri: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik launches Rs 183 Crore worth drinking water project in Krushnaprasad block of Puri district under ‘Basudha’ scheme at a function at Charichhak.

Addressing a public rally, he said the mega piped water project (PWP) would solve the drinking water need of 147 water stressed villages of both Puri and Ganjam districts.

Patnaik was accompanied by Puri MP Pinaki Mishra, Panchayatiraj Minister Pradip Maharathy and Revenue Minister Maheswar Mohanty.

At a budgeted cost of Rs 183 crore, 92 villages of Krusna Prasad block of Puri and 55 villages of Ganjam block would get drinking water through pipeline.
