Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik inaugurates 12, laid foundation stones for 16 projects at Umerkote

Nabarangpur: CM Naveen Patnaik inaugurates 12 projects worth Rs 19 crore at Umerkote; inaugurated projects include a community health centre at Chandahandi, boys’ hostels of Patraput and Jamaguda High Schools along with upgraded higher secondary schools at Papadahandi .

CM Naveen Patnaik also laid foundation stones for 16 projects to be completed at an estimated cost of Rs 1097 crores. Bicycles, tools and safety kits were also distributed to daily labourers at the programme.

Chief Minister Naveen also distributed land ‘pattas’ to 975 slum-dwellers, forest land right pattas to 1511 beneficiaries, residential ‘pattas’ to 2400 beneficiaries, Madhu Babu Pension to the beneficiaries besides Rs 25 lakh assistance to the Mission Shakti Association at Umerkote.

On the occasion, the CM also formally launched the disbursement of enhanced pension under Madhu Babu Pension Yojana. He also distributed pump sets to 180 farmers under integrated tribal development agency. The BJD supremo provided Rs 25 lakh financial assistance to Mission Shakti association of Umerkote block.
