Bhubaneswar: Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik inaugurated the Regional Badminton Academy at Bhubaneswar. The premier training institution is yet another testimony to the rising prominence of Odisha in the field of sports.
And who better a mentor and guide for the academy than the shaper of world champions Shri Pullela Gopichand. Under his watchful eyes, talents from Odisha, West Bengal, Jharkhand, Assam, North East and Andaman and Nicobar Islands will be nurtured and trained to compete at national and international events.
Players from Odisha have shown their competence at top-levels. This world class training facility will hone their talents and mould them into champions.
