Bhubaneswar: The Railway Siding Project of IFFCO, Paradeep has been inaugurated by Chief Minister of Odisha, Shri. Naveen Patnaik today, 23rd Aug. 2018 at 12.30 p.m. The investment for this project is Rs.64/- crores in the first phase of Railway Siding.
During the inaugural ceremony, the Hon’ble CM inaugurated Ground Breaking-cum-Foundation Stone laying for the said Project through Video Conferencing at the said Railway Siding Project. During the function, the Collector-cum-District Magistrate Smt. Yamini Sarangi,I.A.S, Sh Praksah R, I.P.S, Superintendent of Police, Jagatsinghpur and other senior State Govt. officials were present on the occasion. The Principal Secretary, Industries Department also witnessed the inaugural function.
Shri. A K Panda, Unit Head of IFFCO Paradip along with other senior officials has witnessed the inaugural ceremony.During his speech, Shri. A K Panda has emphasized that this Railway Siding project shall be completed soon and will be highly beneficial for IFFCO to ensure timely dispatch of the complex fertilizers to the whole country. He also added that at present IFFCO is getting coal from Nirgundi through Road and spending huge expenses and unable to dispatch gypsum to different parts of the country due to absence of our own railway siding. Therefore, once the Railway Siding project is completed, then IFFCO is fully equipped in transportation front and hugely benefited in timely dispatching of the fertilisers to all over the country without any interruption and delay.
