Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik congratulated eminent sculptor Dr. Raghunath Mohapatra and acclaimed Odissi danseuse Dr. Sonal Mansingh for nomination to Rajya Sabha; expressed gratitude to President of India Dr Ramanth Kovind for choice of two members from Odishan art and culture.
Dr. Mohapatra continues Odisha’s legacy of statuary and holds positions of eminence as President, Odisha Lalit Kala Academi and Member, Shree Jagannath Temple Managing Committee. Artists will greatly benefit from his proposed stone sculpture Academy at Konark.
