Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will be conferred the Ideal Chief Minister award by former President of India Smt Pratibha Devisingh Patil at the Bharat Chhatra Sansad (Indian Student Parliament) hosted by MIT World Peace University at Pune on 21 January. He is being honoured for transforming Odisha through clean and transparent governance.
The BCS Governing Council hails the Chief Minister for his outstanding commitment, courage and conviction coupled with revolutionary ideas of clean governance aimed at making Odisha an ideal state. It states that he has delivered on his promises of economic growth and is known for innovative schemes launched for the masses.
