Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik condoles the death of passengers killed in Baliguda mini truck accident, announces an ex gratia of Rs 2 lakh for the family members of each diseased.
It should be noted that eight persons were killed and several others injured as a mini-truck overturned at Bangadadua ghat in Kandhamal district today.
Sources said the mishap occurred when the vehicle carrying over 40 persons was on the way to Brahmanigaon from Gadapur for an event. The driver of the vehicle lost control over the wheels following which the mini-truck turned turtle and plunged into a gorge.
