Odisha cabinet approves long-term bauxite linkage policy, drinking water projects worth Rs 360 crores

Bhubaneswar: Odisha cabinet today approves three important proposal. Odisha cabinet headed by CM Naveen Patnaik also approved six rural piped water supply projects worth Rs 900 crore which would be implemented in Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Keonjhar, Jajpur and Sundargarh. Over 6 lakh people to get benefit.

 

Odisha cabinet approves long-term bauxite linkage policy that would help Vedanta’s Lanjigarh alumina refinery to source bauxite from state-owned Odisha Mining Corporation which has recently started bauxite mining from Kodingamali bauxite reserve in Rayagada district.

Odisha cabinet clears appointment of Brig (Retd) Laxmi Charan Patnaik as chairman and Jagannath Mohanty as member in the Odisha Public Service Commission.
