Odisha BJP leader Dilip Ray alleges Central apathy towards Rourkela

Bhubaneswar: Senior BJP leader and MLA Dilip Ray alleges Central apathy towards Rourkela. Mr Ray says 2nd bridge on Brahmani is yet to see light of the day despite PM Narendra Modi’s promise.

IGH, Rourkela, is yet to be upgraded to a super-speciality hospital says MLA Dilip Ray.

On April 1, 2016 Prime Minister Narendra Modi had announced the second bridge over the river, a long-standing demand of the city.

Earlier MLA Dillip Ray had publicly expressed his displeasure over the delay and had even boycotted the party’s programme organised to mark completion of two years of the NDA government. Subsequently, two central ministers who were to attend the event had cancelled their visit to the city. He even threatened to take the issue to the streets and “fight for the right of Rourkela”.
