Odisha BJD MP Bhartruhari Mahtab says BJP gains in Panchyat Polls due to loss of Congress votes

Bhubaneswar: Odisha BJD MP Bhartruhari Mahtab says BJP gains due to loss of Congress votes. MP Mahtab said that BJD has not done poorly in panchayat polls as being propagated by BJP. BJD votes have decreased from 43% to 40%. This has to be admitted says MP Bhartruhari Mahtab.

MP Bhartruhari Mahtab expressed this in his  2nd column in a local daily. Mahtab’s 2nd op-ed flays Dama Rout, Surya Patro for their remarks on his first column. MP Bhartruhari Mahtab writes 2nd column today, says objective is to clarify things as certain TV channels tried to amilify . BJD spokespersons’ response to local BJP leaders in any matter is exposing BJD’s weakness as Bhartruhari adds in his column. MLAs should be asked to be careful to cement cracks in party at their respective constituencies writes MP Mahatab in his coloumn.

I appeal to the MP to be with the party & refrain from making such views in media says Debasish Samantaray on Mahtab’s 2nd column. Has he (Mahtab) reviewed poll results of his constituency?, questions Debasish Samantaray.
