Bhubaneswar: In 29thnternational Art Competition 2018 by Konaseema Chitra Kala Academy, Amlapuram, Andhra Paradesh honored visual artist and academician Abdul Salam Khan with prestigious Art Legend Award.
Out of more than 2000 art work from all over India his work title “untitled” stand in “Top 31”and felicitated with “Art Legend Award” on dated 20th January 2019 at Sri Satya Sai Kalyan Mandap, Amlapuram, Andhra Pradesh with larger number of audience.
The award ceremony graced by eminent and legendary artist Sri Tota Vaikuntham, and award given by Sri Nimmakayala Chinarajappa, Deputy CM & Home Minister, Andhra Pradesh and the convener of the programmed sri Mangipudi Srinivas given the vote of thanks to all awardee and guests on behalf of Konaseema Chitra Kala Parishad .
Also his name is selected for National Islamic Calligraphy Art Festival 2019 schedule form 28 January to 1st February 201, organize by Maulana Abul Kalam Azad Arabic Persian Research Institute, Tonk, Government of Rajasthan. In this nationally repute festival the selected calligraphist will engage with 5 days workshop and also display their art pieces in form of a national exhibition.
