Bhubaneswar: Odisha Assembly passes Odisha Municipal (amendment) Bill-2018 and the Odisha Municipal Corporation (amendment) Bill 2018, following which Mayors in municipal corporations and chairpersons in the municipalities/NACs will now be elected directly by the people.
