Paralakhemundi: As a rare instance Gajapati Administration under the leadership of Collector Anupam Saha stood behind at unreached interior villages of Gajapati those affected by Titli Cyclone.Officials are time bound to reach with relief materials in all blocks where most affected by cyclone.Those victims aided by 1000 rupees cash with 50 kgs of rice & kerocene.On this rare disaster 1,44,460 families affected where 1,09,857 families till date covered with relief.Round the clock with the monitoring team visiting its transparency & accountability of relief distributions.49 persons lost their lives & among them 39 families directly paid each 10 lakhs.Mostly Rayagada & Gosani blocks are affected on the cyclone.
At Gangabada of Rayagada block,3 children found as their parents died in cyclone.Dandapani Bhuyan & his wife Sumitra Bhuyan with their daughter Banita Bhuyan lost their lives.Their children Simanchala Bhuyan,Kartik Bhuyan & Ram Bhuyan could save from the deadly cyclone.Now those 3 orphan children are taken as adopted by the administration for their future studies.Fast imperative to launch all measures of district administration is commendable & praised from all corners
