“The Government will consider their demand for increasing the age of retirement from 60 to 62 years. Besides, keeping in view the welfare of students and the oncoming HSC and Plus Two examinations, we decided defer our stir till March 9,” added Nayak.

“However, if the Government actually fails to fulfil our demands, we would take to the streets again and will skip the evaluation of the studenta’ answer sheets,” added Nayak.Later, Minister Patra said, “Thankfully, the teachers have kept our request because of the upcoming HSC and Plus Two examinations. Also, keeping in mind the ensuing Bijepur by-election, we asked them to cooperate with the Government.”
