Angul: Paying heartfelt tribute to the great architects of Odisha and remembering the art and heritage of Utkal Pradesh, O.P. Jindal School celebrated the Utkal Divas at its amphitheater with tinge classical Dance and Music. Observing the historic occasion with great patriotism, Mr Chhanda Charana Das, Principal highlighted the elegant art and architecture of Odisha through his speech and classic instrumental music. Students and teachers presented their classic Bhajan, speeches state song “Vande Utkala Janani”, Odissi and Sambalpuri folk dance. Certificates of merit were given away to the winner participants in Calligraphy, Essay Writing and Odia Declamation organised on this occasion. Mr R.K. Tripathy assisted by Mrs. Poonam Singla coordinated the glorious ceremony and accorded vote of thanks to the staff, students and guardians.
