NTPC organized “Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas Sammelan” at Kalimela , Malkangiri of Odisha

Malkangiri: Talcher Kaniha, NTPC Ltd organized “Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas Sammelan” at Kalimela stadium ,Kalimela , Malkangiri district,Odisha today as per the instructions given by Government of India .

Shri K V Singhdeo, Former Minister, Honorable MLA,Patnagarh(Bolangir) & Leader of BJP Legislative assembly graced the occasion as Chief Guest for the progamme.

Shri Singhdeo addressing the mass gathering assembled for the programme shared the objective of the programme i.e to share the three achievements of the government .He said that during three years Central Govt. has launched 103 schemes. “In order to reach the mass audience, a pamphlet has been distributed among the public to showcase the highlights of the various central govt. welfare schemes said” Shri Singhdeo.

On this occasion, Shri K V Singhdeo, handed over fogging machines supplied by Indian Oil Corporation(IOCL) to representative of District Collector ,Malkangiri Shri K Sudashan Chakraboty & Shri M N A Hussian ,Medical officer,Kalimela in presence of IOCL officials.

Distribution of fogging machine was fulfillment of promise made by Shri Dharmendra Pradhan ,MOS I/C ,Petroleum and Natural Gas during his last visit to Malkangiri for supply of 100 no.s of fogging machines to tackle Japanese Encephalitis Fever in Malkangiri district.

It may be mentioned that Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas Sammelan is being organized at various locations across the country to mark the completion of three years in office by the Central Government to highlight the achievements of the government among the common people. On this occasion the Mahartana NTPC showcased its success story and contributions towards Nation building and development of Odisha through various CSR activities.

The programme also included displaying of three years of Central government achievements, address by the dignitaries and cultural programmes. Around 3500 persons attended the programme.

On behalf of NTPC, Shri N S Rao, General Manager (Technical Services), Talcher Kaniha, NTPC and senior officials of NTPC were also present on the occasion.
