Report by Orissadiary correspondent; Dhenkanal: The Students union elections at Dhenkanal Autonomous College were held peacefully today. The elections were swept by the student�s wing of the Congress party NSUI. The same was reported by Sri Sitanshu Panda Ex students office bearer of the collage and the NSUI election Coordinator for Dhenkanal district. Sri Bhabani Shankar Nayak was elected as the President and Sri Soumya Ranjan Rai Chowdhury was elected as the General Secy other NSUI members too won many posts. Sri Sitansu Panda congratulated all the NSUI supported candidates. He said that this is a landmark victory for the Congress party as in the near past assembly and general elections not even one congress MLA or MP had won in the district. All the elected candidates thanked OPCC Working President Sri L.B Mahapatra and young congress leader Sri Suparno Satpathy for their kind support and guidance.Bhuban college of Dhenkanal district too was swept off by NSUI.
