Bhubaneswar: The NITI Aayog has urged the Odisha Government to list out developmental actions being undertaken in the backward districts as annual ranking of performance of districts has already begun.
NITI Aayog CEO Amitabh Kant has informed the State Government that in the last ranking best 20 districts, Vizianagaram district of Andhra Pradesh stood on the top.
A similar process will kick start soon and Odisha has been recently included in the list of Aspirational Districts as the State Government has agreed to participate in the process. The NITI Aayog CEO recently came to Bhubaneswar and held discussions with Chief Secretary Aditya Prasad Padhi and other senior Secretaries along with several Officers.
