Kalinga Nagar : Five teams of Kalinga Nagar based Neelachal Ispat Nigam Limited (NINL) came out shining and won Gold award at the Chapter Conventions on Quality Concepts where teams of leading industries present their innovative skills to vie for the recognition as ‘most creative’. In the recently concluded chapter conventions, two teams of NINL won Gold in Bhilai Chapter, two other teams won Gold in Rourkela Chapter, another two teams won Gold and one team won Silver in Durgapur Chapter.
Teams of leading industrial houses like Rourkela Steel Plant, Bhilai Steel Plant, Bokaro Steel Plant, RINL etc. participate in the chapter conventions and present before the jury their innovative skills which worked for the development of their respective industries. NINL had sent eight quality circle teams to participate in various chapter conventions. Till now, five out of the six teams won gold and one won silver whereas two teams yet to participate in the Vizag conventions. The teams upon winning gold will further participate in the National Convention and the teams coming out with par excellence award will further participate at International Convention.
