Bhubaneswar: Neelachal Ispat Nigam Limited (NINL) produced 69455 ton Hot Metal in May 2018 to register its second highest monthly Hot Metal production since inception and also best May-monthly production. With the improving Hot Metal production, the Kalinga Nagar based integrated steel company has immediate plans to resume steel billet production with maximum capacity utilization of the Steel Melting Shop.
The Blast Furnace of NINL surpassed 3000-mark per day hot metal production for the first time on 13th May, 2018 when it produced highest ever single-day hot metal of 3001 ton. Going ahead, it produced 3023 ton a day after.
The Kalinga Nagar-based company is climbing new heights in production soon after completing its Blast Furnace capital repair–the first milestone for the turnaround of the company.
