Bhubaneswar: Today morning on the occassion of the 12th punyatithi (death anniversary) of former Union Minister and Former CM of Odisha Legendary Smt. Nandini Satpathy a prayer meeting was organised here by Smt. Nandini Satpathy Memorial Trust (SNSMT)
Several noted persons from the field of politics, literary, cinema, social activism, sports, art, journalism etc. paid their homage to the arguably most dynamic CM Odisha has ever witnessed.
Several memorial meetings were held to remember the great leader at many places in Odisha and even out side of Odisha.
Former Chief Secretary of Odisha and author Ramakant Rath told this reporter that he is yet to come across any leader with courage, dynamism, honesty, dedication and conviction matching up to that of late Madam Satpathy.
Chairman of SNSMT Suparno Satpathy conveyed his gratitude to all who put in their prayers for Smt. Nandini Satpathy.
