Mumbai: Singer Mamta Sharma, awarded several times for her dance numbers like Munni Badnaam Hui (Dabangg, 2010), performed at the recently-concluded Zee Cine Awards 2018 in Mumbai.
She opened her act with the song Anarkali Disco Chali from House full 2. When asked about her performance, Mamta says, “I am excited to be a part of the show, where the film fraternity appreciated my act.
For me, it’s not just a performance; it’s almost like taking home an award. Eight of my super hit tracks were performed by other artistes like Gauahar Khan, Elli AvrRam and Nora Fatehi. It made my run-up to the New Year special because everyone watched my performance last night on television. I’ll always be thankful to Sajid-Wajid for giving me an opportunity to croon some of their hits.”
Mamta has collaborated with an acknowledged label for her new single, Bum bolo Bum, composed and written by Ashraf Ali. She’s also working on two other dance tracks which will also feature her in the videos.
Her costumes for the acts were designed by well-known fashion designer Umair Zafar and photos were clicked by Rashid Bhatkar.
