Sambalpur: Mr A K Jha, Chairman & Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL) today released “Katha Chanakya”, a book on stories of wisdom for dreamers and thinkers by Dr Radhakrishnan Pillai.
Best seller author of Corporate Chanakya, Dr Pillai was invited resource person at MCL headquarters to hold a workshop for lower management executives on “Applicability of Chankaya Principles in Modern Management”.
The sixth book of author “Katha Chanakya” is a compilation of 30 brainstorming stories which can enlighten minds and help in understanding management.
The programme was formally inaugurated by Mr A K Jha, CMD, MCL in the presence of Mr L N Mishra, Director (Personnel), Mr B C Tripathy, General Manager (HRD), Mr S K Srivastava, General Mnager (IED), Mr A K Singh, General Manager (Safety & Rescue).
More than 100 executives, majority from mine project areas, participated in the workshop-cum-interactive session.
