Bhubaneswar: Indian Metrological Department, Bhubaneswar office predicts heavy rains in Odisha in the next 48 hours due to low pressure.

The IMD said the north and coastal districts of Odisha may experience heavy rains on August 19 as a low pressure is likely to form over the north Bay of Bengal in the next 48 hours.Cyclonic circulation would form over the Bay of Bengal on Saturday which would turn into a low pressure the following day.

Coastal districts like Baleswar, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Bhadrak, Kendrapada, Jagatsinghpur, Jajpur, Cuttack, Puri and Khordha would experience heavy rains under the impact of the low pressure from August 19.
