Bhubaneswar: Mr Anil Kumar Jha, Chairman and Managing Director, Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL) today felicitated Odisha’s young tennis sensation Ms Rutuparna Choudhury by presenting a Rs one lakh as a token of appreciation for her achievements in the sport.
Ms Choudhury, 16, had won the Singles and Doubles events at the National Girls under 16 Sunfeast AITA Super Series, Kolkata held in February this year. Earlier in the month of January 2017, she had won the singles championship in the National Girls under 16 AITA Super Series held at Kolkata.
Congratulating young tennis star of Odisha, Mr Jha wished that Ms Choudhury would soon enter into seniors’ category and bring laurels to the state as well as the country. He wished her all the very best for her future endevours.
Expressing her gratitude to the company, Ms Rutupurna said the corporate like Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL) play a great role in motivating young talents and promoting sports.
