Puri: Life getting back to normalcy at Puri. Administration cleared sand from Iconic Puri beach. Mountains of sands are moved within a week to restore Puri beach front the iconic tourists destination. Herculean task accomplished by Works Department.
The Puri district administration has started a massive cleaning exercise to restore the beach’s lost beauty and grandeur. Joint sweeping teams from Puri municipality and Berhampur Municipal Corporation are toiling on the beach to remove debris and garbage. It took a week to clear mountain of sand.
Slowly Citizens & Tourists coming iconic Puri beach to enjoy the cool breeze. It should be noted that electricity supply has been restored to Srimandir & Bada Danda yesterday. The surging tidal waves during the cyclone caused massive damage to several makeshift shops and the whole market area.
