Sambalpur: Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL), a flagship subsidiary of Coal India Limited (MCL), has been conferred on Dun & Bradstreet PSU “Best Miniratna” Award -2017.
Mr Neeraj Kumar Gupta, IAS, Secretary – Department of Investment and Public Asset Management, Ministry of Finance, Government of India, presented the award to Mr A K Jha, Chairman & Managing Director of MCL, at a ceremony held last evening in New Delhi.
Mr Jha has congratulated all the employees of MCL for their dedicated efforts in taking company to greater heights.
Youngest among all the subsidiaries of Coal India Limited, MCL is the highest coal supplying company in the country, particularly catering to the needs of thermal power plants.
